Mailong Metal is pleased to announce a major capacity upgrade at our processing facility in Wuxi, Jiangsu. In October 2025, we completed the installation and commissioning of two new precision slitting lines and an upgraded surface polishing system dedicated to stainless steel strip and coil processing.
The new precision slitting lines can cut coils from 0.1 mm to 3.0 mm thick with tolerances as tight as Ā±0.01 mm, enabling us to offer narrow-width strip products for automotive, electronics, and food equipment manufacturers. The polishing system supports No.4, HL, and mirror (8K) finishes, including PVC-protected output, in widths up to 1500 mm.
Combined, these investments increase our monthly processing capacity for stainless steel coils and strips by more than 40 percent, significantly shortening lead times for both small-batch and high-volume orders.
The project also includes upgraded quality inspection stations with automated thickness measurement, surface defect detection, and mill test certificate generation. All processing is performed in controlled-environment workshops to prevent contamination and surface damage.
